Beautiful Day in Surfside
It was a gorgeous day yesterday!
We had a good friend take family pictures in the morning. Then in the afternoon, we headed to the beach. It got a little cold for Mille, but the rest of us enjoyed our time there. The beach was packed at the first spot we tried, but we decided to drive down the beach a ways and found a nice quiet spot all to ourselves.
We brought the big shovel along and we were able to make a sand fortress ... it lasted way longer than any previous castle ... even the kids couldn't destroy it so quickly :-)
We love the beach! We're looking forward to many more outings there ths year.
