Don as a Sunbeam

Our primary is having an activity this Saturday. Part of the activity is for the kids to get to know their teachers. The presidency wanted us to send them a picture of when we were a primary student. I dug up this one and "digitized" it (I just took a picure of it with my digital camera).




*UPDATE*
The Primary party was on Saturday. I had about, literally, 15 people come up to me that day and say how much Ben and I look alike.

I did a side by side comparison and I think we look a little alike. Of course, I think Ben is a little younger in this picture than I was. I think I was closer to 5.

Emma & Darth Vader

Ben's birthday is coming up. In anticipation of his birthday party, Jill bought some invitations. The invitations have a picture of Darth Vader on them. Tonight, Ben was showing everyone his invitations. Emma, the Planner, immediately commented that she would write up the menu for the party. So she promptly got out some paper and then drew some pictures and words on it. A few minutes later, she brought me the paper and showed me what she had done. It was a drawing of a Stormtrooper and Darth Vader. Underneath Darth Vader were the letters "hopr." I walked into the kitchen and Jill asked me if I read what Darth Vader was saying. I said, "huh?" I looked and said, hooper? The Jill made the Darth Vader breathing sound ... hooo-prrr. OH! I laughed so hard!

Finally Home

We finally made it home! United Airlines suffered a major computer "glitch" that made us wait about 4 hours at the San Francisco Airport. Travelling for this trip wasn't great at all. We had to stay a night in Denver because of fog in Boise and then this glitch yesterday. We should have been home by midnight, but we didn't get home until 4:30am. It was pretty stressful. Waiting around in an airport for 4 hours with 3 kids who want to go in all directions is not fun at all.

But we're glad we had the chance to go to Boise and spend Christmas with family. I'll post a pictures from our trip soon.
