It's been a while since I've gave an update on our family.
Jill has been doing well. As you know number 4 is on his/her way in July ... the 22nd to be exact. She's not looking forward to the hot Texas summer! She thinks we're having a girl since this one isn't moving so much. Emma didn't move too much either, but Ben and Erick were wigglers. She has an ultrasound this week, but we're not finding out what we're having. We're going to get a suprise in July. Besides trying to stay healthy, Jill stays busy with dance class. She has about 30 students and really enjoys her classes. She keeps busy taking the kids all over town ... to school, to the gym, to parties and on and on.
Emma is our little star! She's doing great in school and loves playing with friends. She goes to at least on birthday party a week now. Sometimes she gets requests to go to two parties the same day! In her spare time, she colors pictures and makes books. She is an exceptional planner. As soon as she gets home from school, she begins planning the rest of the day ... telling Jill and Ben what they need to do and what she is going to do! Last Sunday, she prepared the family home evening agenda! I think she'll be asking for a Franklin Planner for her birthday!
Ben is growing like a weed. He loves playing with his friends and toys. He and Erick get along most of the time ... as long as Erick stays out of Ben's toys. I took Ben and Erick to the doctor recently to get shots and Ben did great! He cried a little bit, but was brave to take three shots! He loves to wrestle and read books with his dad when he's not playing.
Erick is a bowl full of jolly. He loves
Baby Einstein ... he gets so excited to watch one of those videos or read one of the books. Jill was at the store yesterday and Erick saw a Baby Einstein book and got really excited. Jill gave it to him and he just stared at it in awe. This morning he was really excited to get his new book and have me read it to him. He's so cute!
I'm staying busy with work and school. I'm doing well in the program so far. I just started the 2nd half of the Spring semester last week. Game Theory is one of the classes I'm taking right now. This will probably be one of my favorite classes ever ... we get to play and talk about game strategy every week! I skimmed over a few of the articles we're supposed to read and about a fourth of them talk about chess. The neat thing about this class is that it is applicable in all aspects of life and it is a "new" science ... only about 50 years old. Anyway ... I'll take 4 more classes in the Summer and then I'll only be going to one class a week (as opposed to two) from August to December. My
graduation date is December 9, 2006. We're anxiously counting down the days! I'll practically be done in August, but I'll officially be done in December.
Last week was Spring Break for Emma, so Jill took the kids to Austin to visit her brother. While they were gone, we had the painters move in. They painted the entire house on the inside. We had an unemployed friend volunteer to paint the house on the outside last year, so our whole home has a new coat of paint ... and it looks great! We threw away our old blinds and are getting new ones this week. We're happy about the new look.
That's about all for now ... we hope everyone is doing well! We enjoy all the updates we get from the blogs ... it's a great way to keep up!
