The Catch Up Post

We've been busy, busy, busy.  But here are a few pictures and memories we've had since the beach.

Here is Ben holding his completed Easter Egg.

Erick is thinking about which color to choose for his Easter Egg.

Emma patiently waiting for her Easter Eggs to be colored.

Camille showing off that she likes her hands colored.

This historic moment we celebrated: Jill making it halfway to 70.

Ben earning his Bobcat award.  When they pin the award on the boys, they turn them upside-down.  The boy then has to "do a good turn" to get his pin "righted."  But Ben wasn't feeling too good that night, so they didn't turn him upside-down to put the pin on.

Erick's soccer team finished their season (they're the Sharks).  Thanks to Coach Dave and all his time and effort!!

So all the kids at the elementary school completed art projects.  Emma's work was one of only two kids' works that was chosen out of 4th grade at her school to be represented at a district-wide art show.  We've already framed two of Emma's really nice works.  This one a "framer" too.  We all enjoy her art pieces so much.  She had also just finished singing for her choir at the same school district event.  We love her and her talents!

And lastly, we're sad to report that our dog likes the 'sauce'  He drank a little too much one night while we watched Jack Bauer.

We can't believe it's been a year since we've moved.  The years seem to go by faster and faster.  To me at least, it is very un-nerving how fast time goes by.  I look at my brothers and sisters and think, "that will be us in a few more years."  So for now, each and every day, we try to enjoy the moments and soak in the memories.
